About

From Milan, MI. At school in Southfield, MI.

Ever since I was a child, I have always been interested in design, from building Legos to spending hours in my sketchbook to the work I did in class. I had a natural curiosity for how things are made and how they work. I would disassemble pens and put them back together in middle school. In high school I changed pens out for computers and other electronics. Architecture always seemed like the epitome of design with all of the intricate details and systems and structures working together to create the spaces that we live in. I still have that urge to understand how it’s made and to hopefully design and build my own.

I went to high school at Washtenaw Technical Middle College (WTMC), a high school on the campus of Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor, MI. As part of their high school curriculum, I completed a certificate and degree at the college. I graduated high school in 2020 with an Associates degree in Occupational Studies and a certificate in Engineering and Design Technology. WTMC also had a FIRST Robotics team which I was a part of for the latter three years. My time there helped to develop my design oriented thinking processes as well as how to collaborate with other people towards a common goal. After graduating, I came to Lawrence Technological University to complete their Masters in Architecture direct entry degree. I am currently in the third year of the Bachelors degree as well as a member of the LTU chapter of the American Institute for Architecture Students (AIAS). I am looking forward to the rest of my education and my career after school.
